For Gold Peak and Bon Appétit, we set out to capture the universal language of barbecue, a celebration of connection, culture, and golden summer moments.
Hosted by Bon Appétit Test Kitchen Manager Inés Anguiano, the three-part series brings together pitmasters from across the country to share the stories, techniques, and flavors that make BBQ a symbol of gathering everywhere. Each episode spotlights a new chef and a new flavor: from Pat Neely’s ribs to Kelly English’s Creole chicken sandwiches and Inés’s carne asada tacos.
