Our eleventh chapter of Spotify RADAR is ADÉLA, the Slovak artist whose debut album PRIMA put her on the Billboard 200 and made “Ain’t In LA” the first Slovak song on the Hot 100. She performed it live with a full band for the series.
The room is one colour. Pink curtains, pink walls, a pink velvet couch and purple carpet, with trophies and roses on every surface and pointe shoes hanging from the chandelier: a girlhood bedroom scaled up to a stage. The set was built in Spotify Studios on the modular room we designed for RADAR, with Alex Harper shooting the stills between takes.
